Atlantis is an ecosystem box-model intended for use in management strategy evaluation. The overall structure of Atlantis is based around having multiple alternative submodels to represent each step in the management strategy and adaptive management cycles.
Full time modeler(plus % of a data support person if available) during initial model construction, but less intensive once its up and going (smaller job to do the odd run and summarize results)
user manual is under development, but primarily Atlantis is supported through free support software (tools to make parameter files) and the developer is available for consultation
Will run on eitehr Windows or Linux, but the bigger the computer the better for run time speed
Biological rate parameters, initial biomass distributions, spatial distributions of ecological groups and fisheries
