The Tools for Climate Change Adaptation Planning matrix was created to help planners and coastal managers begin to sort through the many tools available for climate-related work. The tools described are not intended as a comprehensive list of all available tools; rather, the matrix focuses on a set of commonly used, low cost tools that are increasingly being applied to climate related questions and planning activities. Also, none of the tools are geographically specific, so they may be applied to any landscape throughout the country.
