The Marine Integrated Decision Analysis System (MIDAS) was developed to assist the Marine Managed Areas (MMA) users and managers in understanding the critical factors that influence MMA effects so that they can plan accordingly, to estimate likely MMA effects based on the ecological, socioeconomic and governance conditions, and finally, to advise management plan revisions that will result in optimization of outcomes and outputs.

AGricultural Non-Point Source Pollution Model (AGNPS) is a joint USDA - Agricultural Research Service (ARS) and - Natural Resources Conservation Service system of computer models developed to predict non point source pollutant loadings within agricultural watersheds.

Ecoseed is a zoning tool for the EwE software package designed to evaluate placement of protected areas. Ecoseed builds on the spatial-dynamic module of EwE, Ecospace, and is designed to consider economic, social biodiversity, and ecological criteria.

Vista is conservation planning support tool operating as an extension to ArcView 9.1, 9.2, and planned 9.3 spring 2009. It also requires the Spatial Analyst extension.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) is developing e-Estuary, a decision-support system for coastal management. E-Estuary has three elements: an estuarine geo-referenced relational database, associated estuarine and watershed GIS coverages, and tools to support decision-making.
